I’m convinced we won’t get botw2 until the next gen Nintendo console comes and it’s a launch title while also being on the switch, like botw and Twilight Princess before it.

I’ve often pondered what Pokemon Company might do after we have 1000+ unique mons they need to create new 3D models for every new game. My best guess would be a House of M style reduction back to 151 of the greatest hits, with more new ones and old fan-favorites to follow.
