My general approach is that I want whatever makes him feel the worst. I do genuinely worry that he lacks sufficient self awareness to be humiliated by his F1 performance. So perhaps and humiliating crash - where no one is hurt - followed by his unceremonious removal from F1 and endless mocking by the peers he respects…
The same number of laps as Callum Illot had completed prior to P1. Compare Illot’s first time out to Mazepin’s and it says a lot. Earlier in the session Illot was faster than Kimi while Mazepin kept missing braking points and generally looking like a person who didn’t belong in an F1 car.
The funniest thing was when earlier this week Mazepin complained that Schumacher had an unfair advantage. He argued that Schumacher has a massive advantage because he is supported by Ferrari and alleged that Mick can prepare in the Ferrari simulator(Haas doesn’t have one) and has been better prepared than him because…
He deserves nothing but the most thorough humiliation. I for one very much enjoy him being in F1.
It is a shame that they’re leaving just as they present a real threat to Mercedes.
That is dangerously close to shore... the swing circle of the anchor would put the stern aground. Perhaps they are have a stern anchor deployed... but what a mess.
Oh, of course the consequences would be dire - afterwards. But what could they do to stop nearly a quarter million gross tons of weight bearing down on the Suez canal at 20 + km/ h in four kilometers?
“the owners of the Ever Given, Japanese company Shoei Kisen Kaisha Ltd and the operators of the ship, a German company called Bernhard Schulte.”
That is unconscionable. The fact that his spirits are still so high and that he is following through with his side of this ridiculous legal situation just makes it even harder to watch. I sincerely hope he is freed soon and gets to go home to his family.
SCA: “Ever Given, we notice your engines are operational, please advise”
I know I shouldn’t be surprised by how callous both governments and corporations are towards the people living and working under them, but holy crap that’s awful.
Holy. Shit. I am not well versed in the seafarer and shipping world but this has been eye opening. I cannot believe crews are abandoned so completely they cannot escape their situations. I started reading up on it and this happens all over the world even in the U.S. which really blew my mind. Seemingly the U.S. does a…
Man these guys have leverage here.
The range isn’t impressive if you take it out of the context of the very low price. For that price point this is an incredible range which is why they have more than 3x the orders than cars they’ve been able to produce. Obviously it’s not going to meet US crash requirements at this price but this is really meant for…
I have lived with my Bolt for 6 1/2 months. I’m past the point of worrying how it looks, as I’m more concerned with how it drives. I leased it for 36 months, $0 down, 1st payment DAS and the lease is $250/month, plus they paid the last 2 lease payments on my Jetta GLI. It is dependable, will beat almost anything to…
With the continuously growing “middle class” in China, this is a perfect fit. Most people could only afford an electric scooter and they traveled everywhere by train/bus/plane. Now they have the ability to spend a little more and get them a car that can take them from one side of the city, to the other in bad weather…
Something like this would really be perfect for my commute. There is no reason something like this could not be sold here for around $8,000. If a fortwo can pass a crash test, so can something like this.
