Man, if that actually comes to the market for that price and with those specs, and even just “pretty OK” build quality, I’m buying one.
I was going to say the same thing, that a running car for $700 is an automatic NP. But then I got to the point where it’s burning a quart of oil between gas stops.
I’m a happy Tesla owner and my car hasn’t had any issues in 10k miles of ownership. However. If this happens to me, any “brand loyalty” goes out the window. If you wanna make your car dependent on a single screen for basically every function including the speedometer, you better fucking make sure that screen works.
I too, am close to this car and have been stalking it a bit... much more enticing when the weather was in the mid 50s. Which in Missouriese means yesterday.
I hope nic is drunk.
wait...what?
Seller seems to be “forgetting” to explain the apparent water damage inside . . . yeah, completely escaped his memory, except for those dehumidifying pails inside. Methinks there is more than just a damaged engine here.
For those wondering why someone would “forget” about a car like this, I would like to remind you that life changes as do the winds of fortune. You only “think” you are in control of your life. Anything could have happened that became far more important to the person than this car.
As an old geezer who was a teenage car nerd in the 80’s, please let me explain the phenomenon of stashing turbo Buicks as future collector cars that was rampant in 1986-1987. In the mid 1980’s, the automotive world was firmly ensconced in that fuzzy, depressing state called the Malaise Era. Cars were slow. Really…
I think I’m in the minority, but I hate those 4 headlight mercedes. Ruined the CLK GTR for me.
Man, am I the only one that likes both? I honestly think that GM had been making the best looking trucks, with the exception of a few years in the 50s, from the late 40s Advance Design all the way until about 2019 or whenever the last KT200 rolled off the line.
I think you’re focusing on the wrong generation Mazda3.
I didn’t mind the Civic model that followed it, generic blob that it was:
I actually think the Avalon has gotten better with age. It’s gone from looking like an old guy in penny loafers to an old guy in comfortable Florsheims to an old guy in Nikes.
And the last version of it did not make things much better with that never-ending butt...
*shudder*
For the record. I am not a DSM fanboy. I respect the cars, but have never owned one. With that said, this was the beginning of the end for Mitsubishi.
Targas.... the world needs more targas. Even 4 door crossovers should have a targa option. Targa everything. This should not be a concept... it should absolutely be produced by the factory... this ups the appeal of the Supra immensely.... it lends cohession to it’s design not having continuity.... breakjng up the roof…
“Sixty-six percent of American adults surveyed know how to drive a manual.”
They are full of shit, but I like those fake AF numbers if it keeps one more option to choose your own adventure.
They should’ve also mentioned that 72.1% of their customer base would purchase immediately a Shooting Brake CT4-V with a stick.
