That further leans into my “theory” that they are being filmed for something else, a different show maybe. For instance, when Whitney is asking the sound guy if he is recording her and she goes to listen to the headphones, there is a shot from behind a bush/tree and there is a big branch obscuring her, as if someone…
The problem with Flight, as I recall them saying, is that the had to write new funny/unusual songs every week in addition to a script, which isn’t easy to do. Not saying it’s easy to just write a script, but it’s at least 50% easier than songs and a script.
Confession: I cheated.
This was pretty much the ONLY bit. This and the silly cat pun bit. Other than that...

I’m certain they would be fine with that as well if he wasn’t such a mess and sloppy with his corruption that they couldn’t explain it away. Clarence Thomas is an even bigger mess, but a lot of his bullshit is still hidden or not as obvious.
Santos’ self-professed mission was to “expose the rot and corruption” in D.C. and he believes he did.
Oh, no, I got that. Just adding to what you said.

Fingers crossed they can work out the same for Cop Rock.
Yeah, the first three sketches were a swing-and-a-miss for me. And the rest weren’t exactly eliciting guffaws. Pongo seemed like “Happy Fun Ball” reworking. The nervous mom Christmas gift sketch was too long, relied on one joke, and didn’t have a payoff (as did many other sketches).
