Take your star, you pervert.

That pretty much was my point.

Still not a long enough sentence.

I’m constantly amazed by that quote and his subsequent actions He saw the train coming down the tracks and intentionally walked in front of it. And doesn’t seem to regret a second of getting splattered all over the road.

Gotta give Duran Duran their props. They made TWO crappy versions of rap/hip-hop classics.

It’s not a Morning Show episode unless they do a news segment about themselves.

The fact that the UB40 version of “The Way You Do The Things You Do” is on this list is ridiculous. Spend any time hanging out at reggae clubs or even listening to some of the top reggae artists (primarily of the ‘80s and ‘90s) and covers like this were a staple. And this line:

A new bill that makes the Ohio constitution invalid by a 9/15s vote or some shit.

I know it is unkind to gloat, but I’m an Ohioan and GODDAMN does this feel good tonight.

Dang, forgot The Bad Plus - Everybody Wants To Rule the World

I like “Back in the New York Groove,” but Frehley’s version is so close to the original that I have to check which one I’m listening to.

Wow, not sure how I missed that detail all these years. But I guess if I had to learn it, their 50th anniversary is as good a time as any.

Or... This song released in 1978 by The Brains.

Glad to see Devo on this list. They took that song completely apart, shook it up and reassembled it. It’s one of the most inventive covers I’ve ever heard that both sounds a bit like the original and at the same time, nothing at all like it.

My favorite line:

All of this. I was fine with the Dems voting to oust McCarthy just as I’m fine with not one Dem voting for Johnson. Dems didn’t want Johnson and didn’t want McCarthy. That’s not hard math to figure out. The GOP was going to support a shit sandwich either way.
