The very people who are praising The Closer are the ones who said Hannah Gadsby’s special was a Ted Talk... which is not too far off of what this way, IMO.

I kept reading people saying THIS was comedy not Hannah Gadsby’s “Ted Talk” (their assessment, not mine), but after watching The Closer, Dave was doing the same thing just with a wee bit more “jokes” sprinkled. I mean, the end of his show was not too different from hers in that it involve a long “lecture.”
