That would certainly solve a lot of problems. If the age of consent moved to 25, then any sexual activity before said age would need to be really full of trust and real consequence.

It is amazing that Jez’s comentariet supports something like the Sex Offender Registry even when all evidence shows it is both inconsequential and also a clear-cut example of cruel and unusual punishment.
A far better deterrent would be not using a single individual as the sacrificial lamb, and actually levying charges against everyone involved.
Ending up in the registry is pretty close to the worst punishment our culture has to offer. It is a life-long process of punishment and humiliation that should be considering cruel and unusual. The only worst punishment is the death penalty.
This is nothing more than offensive to people who actually struggle with substance abuse issues.
As an alcoholic, this joke feels in poor taste and even poorer judgement.
Something that isn’t an easy meme? Moron.
Fuck that. That vast majority of people should never, ever be involved in evaluating things they don’t understand.
Strawman? That’s the very sort of work you do for them that they never pay for for.
I have pipe-dreams of a community that was more interested in games then in pay schemes. But that’s silly!
Nope! Kinda like how CEOs that tank companies and get millions for their trouble isn’t illegal.
The whole thing is shady. Scoring shit is shady.
Metacritic and their relationship to studios?
No. They don’t. A single score does not determine your next ten years. That’s... just not the same.
I dunno. The US government could, if they cared, denote such obviously bad behavior to connections to those who support it.
I agree with you so much... and I’d add that the bullshit idea of holisticas is just as much terrible.
But they aren’t.
Metacritic should be shut down. They provide no evidence their system is scientific, and even if such it is merely a means to monetize something they have no right to monetize.
Just wait until corporate employers start “scoring” employees on similar scales.
I wish 98% of “opinions” were worth anything.
