He got arrested in VA for speeding...I think he ended up being in jail for a few days because the judge or magistrate didn’t work on Sundays so he couldn’t be released or something.

I got greyed out several years ago for posting a critical article on Oppo about a Jalopnik article... Still greyed out till this day!
“Remember kids: If you street race, you are dumb and bad.”
Eh, I don’t think I’ve been out of the Greys ever... Good to know
As a former GM employee, I think it would be would be fired and blacklisted from ever working there again.
That is the most bullshit response ever. Planes are not supposed to have single point of failure sensors that kill everyone especially one sensor that is known to Boeing to be woefully defective and failure prone. Add to that the lack of verification with the second sensor, lack of disagree lights, lack of telling…
Bullitt was a pretty terrible movie, in terms of plot. The car chase? Awesome, but I think you need to be called out on saying the movie was pretty good over all. The plot was horrible, the acting pretty bad, and generally it was a POS except for the car.
“...and it was usually as a rebellious loner with a strong personal ethic and troubled past.”
McQueen wasn’t a good actor. The car did more acting than he did.
I’d have to think restoring it would kill the value. It has been in its current condition for so long now, that the patina makes it authentic. Or someone could buy it and hire Xzibit to pimp the ride just for the sake of sacrilege.
He may also get bullied by other Airbus execs, who are in the south.
The point is that the vast, vast majority of us don’t get anything near as generous as this. If I f*ck up to even a minor degree, I get fired with absolutely nothing to show for it.
Frankly, your statement above, along with all your other writings on unions, leads me to believe that there is no argument anyone could make that could away you. You’ve made up your mind, and shut down any objectivity regarding the subject.
Here’s the thing: Unions no longer have the power that they say they have to protect the workers. We have employment laws that are in place to protect employees, and we have OSHA that ensure the workers’ safety. Unions aren’t doing anything other than skimming money off of the members’ paychecks. They offer shitty…
I agree with you but I don’t think your post will change anything. I especially HATE the articles about “Here’s what happens when you make a tire out of watermelon!”
I have to agree with you. I mean sure we do get articles on new stuff but 50% is on old crap. Maybe the issue is just a lack of content in general. As much as the produce they also seem to miss so much.
Dude why didnt you just ship your tools and the part to Denver.... You could have then brought actual luggage, not ruined your shit, and had your stuff.
Guys we know you are broke. We get it. There has to be a funding source. I literally can’t take a single more “How I bought a car for $5" “How I kept a cheap car going” “My adventures in $100 car” story. We are car guys/gals not junk car people. We are at peak petrol car; there won’t be another era when we can share…
Please do a better job taking care of good friends like Brandon then you do of your vehicles.
