Wow!  This is exactly how I felt about it.  I too gave up after about 3 episodes.

Screw Tesla. They’ve caused more damage to the auto industry than any single thing since the 1973 oil embargo. Their quality is terrible. Their “autonomous technology” literally kills people. They start on fire.  It’s all hype.  I honestly can’t wait for them to go under.

Alanis,  you are right on the money in making fun of these.  This is exactly the kind of stuff that killed NASCAR.  Way too much stuff like this and way too tight of control on the actual cars, racing, how the driver’s behave, etc.  I’ve neer seen such a fall from grace as what happened to this sport.  Well done!

Your logic isn’t sound. Just because nothing happened to the <200 ppl who raced across the country doesn’t make it the right or moral thing to do. One of those <200 morons could have easily killed an innocent person.
