Agreed. Of course, I'd be content with Rory being back down to his Bronze Age power levels for a while too.

My guess is that the character in-universe is still trying to figure out how in the heck Team Arrow escaped him last time and is creating countermeasures.

You people who just know him from the show have NO idea how stupid Oliver can be. The show version may actually be the smartest of them all.

In fairness, even comic book Ollie is a total moron when it comes to women. Idiot slept with a friend of Dinah's ON HER COUCH once.

It saddens me, since I love the character and his presentation on this show, which has happened a grand total of twice before this in the Arrowverse. (Snart and J'onn)

She's a Green Lantern supporting player in the comics, so I doubt she's Prometheus… but she's such a minor one, she may be at that.

That, I'd have loved. Even more if Jefferson then backhanded him with it.

He isn't, though. Got his powers from Kree experimentation, effectively making him a Nu-Inhuman, albeit thirty years before anyone used that term.

That might be nice. I really have hoped that his prominent role on the show would make Marvel realize that they accidentally revived him in 1999 and nobody but me noticed. (Someone forgot to tell the guy writing Blade that the Patriot was dead…)

Of course, his immediate predecessor was just as powerless, and less experienced, which is why he got crushed to death by Adam-2 (insane android trying to assassinate JFK) in about 30 seconds. :)

I'm terrified he's going to die of cancer like he did in the comics. I love the character.

Comicswise, Mace is the only person who wasn't CHOSEN to be Captain America… he took up the costume and shield to defeat an enemy that had killed his predecessor. Great character.

And was hounded out of the role by politics, as the Captain America: Patriot mini showed. (Also revealed he's General Ross' uncle.)

Kinda disappointed they didn't just blatantly use Nitro as the exploding man… the character was essentially him, only with a different name… but Nitro would certainly ramp up the threat potential, since he's a hero-killer. Wonder if that means he's definitely the villain in Captain Marvel….

Which, considering they'd have known Baron von Steuben, is saying something.

In fairness, at least they made a snide comment about the mixed-race couple in 1776 and how unbelievable it was at the party. :)

Or leaving wounds people recover from well.

I think it's a way to give us a better Rip when this is all over.

Keep in mind that DC vetoed Ted Kord for Arrow, so the plot turned him into Ray instead. He'd BE a Legend if DC would have allowed it.

I hope to Jesus he ends up stealing it.
