Why are reviews and news at the main site, and not at the sub-domains created for most AV coverage areas at Kinja? When you go to games.avclub.com, the first link is this article, which takes you to the main site. I’m not sure this is the most effective use of the platform.

For those who aren't going to Kinja, I'll see you around, such as the comments section of the World Socialist Web Site (to which I bear some grudging political allegiance). Probably not the Avocado or WOT boards, since those are just message boards and not website commentary threads.

I intend to stay with the AV Club in the Kinja era. Communities are made and broken on the internet all the time. This website continues to run film reviews and television recaps, and a decent rundown of entertainment news, and that's good enough for me.

I cannot recommend highly enough packets of Crystal Light Energy. You can put two packets in a 32 oz. cup and get good and buzzed real fast.

Don't forget Marcia Wallace, who was consistently credited as "guest star" throughout her entire run.

Mark Getty, who founded the company (and later sold as Alien Jesus notes) was a member of the oil family. He was not directly involved in the museum, although he has sat on the board of London's National Gallery.
