Market value for a car may go down but the utility doesn’t at the same rate.  It isn’t you lost all that money, you gained all the utility of the car. Until you resell you will continue to have it as a viable transportation option and I’d suggest using it to the fullest.

It is substantially easier to determine that with standard computer hardware.
