I don't really get that, since River's talked about her other boyfriends plenty of times. It's the same in Last Night, when River gets annoyed and assumes somebody else is there. Well since he's a time traveller, there might well be.

The only thing that I don't get, is that if the Doctor is told to take the TARDIS that we know and love by Clara, how come the Doctor doesn't remember Clara telling him to take it? Although I guess maybe she's just undoing the G.I. telling him to take the one that works, or something.
