20 years ago people like you were the type of person that would say at parties, “I don’t even own a television!” with the implication that they were superior and more cultured. I was bored by those people back then too.

I really like a lot of the deviations from the game that the show has made to deepen the characters and the universe. However, I think it would be a big mistake to deviate much from the ending of the game.

You are judging it by 2023 standards in a game that takes place in the late 1800s. I mean the British at the time thought that conserving nature was mounting the head of the animal on your wall.

Why do people keep ranting about range while towing? People that actually need to tow any great distance aren’t interested in these. These are for people that need to tow their boat five miles to the lake/river/whatever, but otherwise use their truck like a family sedan.

This entire article is framing this as if TLoU didn’t do this story back in 2013.  Huge swaths of this episode (and the series) are straight form the game, and aside from seeing the men and women of the community, this is maybe the closest the show has hewn to the game.
