Honestly they just need to release a single player version only. No auction house. No real cash trading. Nothing. Just a single player game that wouldn't matter if it gets hacked or not. Just release the game in a single player form that has no option to ever take it online so the hacks and mods will not effect others.

Best part about all of this? 2k is likely done with baseball. MLB The Show needs fresh competition to keep pushing it to innovate. 2k made such a big deal about this million dollar challenge, that it overshadowed how shitty their baseball game has been.
