You know I’m right, but you don’t want to lose the argument.

S 1414 is a senate bill allowing student loans discharged. Sen Durbin (D-IL) introduced it 5/9/19. It’s in the Senate Judiciary Comittee

Tell that to the billion dollar corporations that don’t pay taxes and take loans they never pay back. That would benefit America a lot more.

There was a time in the US when you COULD include student loan debt in filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

I really enjoyed it.  There was at least one moment each episode that had me in stitches, even when I wasn’t laughing out lout I was enjoying the jokes, and it stayed on the right side of laughing with Trek instead of at it.

It was really good, and got much better as it went along. I liked it a lot.

It was appointment TV for me- the humour is a perfect balance of mockery and love. The tongue-in-cheek shoutout to Archer and the Enterprise in the finale was the cherry on top.

So what did everybody think of Lower Decks? I think it’s the best Trek since DS9 and the best first season of a Trek show since either TOS or ever. I’m deeply Internet Outraged that the AV Club didn’t cover it.

that super low rev gobs of torque is wonderful

I know this isn’t very Jalop of me (brown manual diesel wagon and all), but why the F would anyone buy a diesel these days unless whatever country they are in heavily subsidized diesel fuel? If you want economical (and therefore you mostly drive with a light right foot), you can get a 1.5L turbo four engine that still

Right, mice never, ever nest in car’s and eat their wires. Never! Or wasps, they never make nests inside mirror housings and the like.

Had 3 wasps nest in our 2011 Sienna after it sat there for 6+ months. It was not a fun time when I got ready to use it.

Look - one of my neighbors has two inoperable vehicles on their property. Random parts on and off the cars all the time. I don’t care. I wrench in my driveway. No one complains about it at all. No one complained when my 500 Abarth sat for 4 months, and I would never complain about a car here and there.

It hurts property values when a neighborhood looks junked up. As a homeowner, I would not want to live next to someone with a yard/driveway full of dead vehicles and car parts.   If you don’t have garage space, don’t get so many cars.

I agree with you in theory, but you’re not comparing like with like here. David doesn’t have a job or a young kid distracting him from this - this is his passion and his job and somehow it’s still gotten to this state. Also, 12 cars on your property, 5 of which don’t run (at the time the ordinance was issued), is on a

Found the renter.

I work on my vehicles regularly and would have absolutely no problem with a couple non operative vehicles in an neighbor’s yard but when there are literally a dozen vehicles sitting there for 6 months to 2 year I start to worry about rats, wasps, and other vermin nesting in those 12 junk heaps and spreading to my

Wait until you own property.

I think the automotive press calls the subaru CVTs as some of the best CVTs out there. I know that is not saying much about cvts.
