I love the ride. Maybe I’m a masochist. Or I just grew up in CJ's and everything is relative.

I bought my 2012 2-door, 6spd CPO Wrangler with 60k on the odo back in 2016 for $18k. When I got the Pentastar tick and replaced the rockers, then my oil cooler sensor went, I starated looking at the JL’s. A similarly equipped four year old Wrangler is now in the low to mid 30's. Yikes. I’m going to nurse this one

Solar is just so cheap I think we will soon see most third-world countries meeting all their climate goals. The only reason we aren’t progressing even more than we already are is the gas and oil lobby and those in government still making massive amounts of money off fossil fuels.

Yup. Agree 100%. Things are going to shift more quickly than people realize and there’s enough incentive money being placed in the marketplace that the system will adapt as people adopt EV’s. There will be lots of money to be made from those who have forward-thinking business ideas. Yes, the charging infrastructure

I see what you did there.

I saw it opening week as well, and it hit me like a pile of bricks. It was the kind of experience I hope for when I step foot in a theater. Was totally puzzled by the public reaction, but I guess anything mainstream that takes a turn in another direction can expect that kind of result. It has been interesting to see

I loved the prior GC model design. The new one just looks...off. something about the back part of the roofline. The Wagoneer? Hideous.

Indeed. See also: Fallon, Jimmy

I’m going to frame this response because it applies to just about everything in this country. Amen.

So many things that don’t make sense in this world come down to some kind of subsidy, don’t they?

Growing up, we lived miles out of town on a mile-long dirt road and needed our CJ’s to get out in the spring (mud season) or during storms. Decades later, married with a newborn and living on Long Island, I had two cars. All it took was one nor’easter where I lost power and the temps started to plummet and I thought,

Have you seen the price of “pure” fuel for small engines? This is even more refined. My guess is this will be FAR north of $5 a gallon. Thanks to subsidies, we have been trained in the US to think gasoline is cheap. I bet this comes in closer to $15 a gallon when all is said and done. If we want to have fun on the

Ha! I just said the same before I saw this comment. I’m not really a fan of adult animated shows,  but Lower Decks is fantastic and has more heart than any other new Trek.

I'm surprised to be saying this, but I think Lower Decks has more soul than any of the other new Trek series'.

I was shocked that he actually opened the door for Warren to explain why she’s a capitalist and to separate herself from Bernie in that regard.

God that Honda is ugly. What is it with Honda and Toyota recently? It’s like they can’t let one horizontal line that stretches the entire length of the vehicle go - “you gotta break that up some, brah...” Come on, people. Just because it has a straight line or two doesn’t necessarily mean it’s boring.

As a young boy with ADHD whose mom drove him to school in one of these, I learned pretty quickly to make sure I didn't accidentally knock the shifter with my knee while riding. It only took a couple "ka-choong" losses of power before I learned. :)

We opted down from the Limited purely for the color scheme. My wife loved the accents and black wheels. We should have gotten the Limited for the leather and I could have gone aftermarket with the wheels and accents, but it is what it is. We cross shopped this with a CR-V and the Tiguan. In the end, the real world

I loved Life is Strange, and thought Life is Strange: Before the Storm was even better. What infuriated me about LiS2 was all the ridiculous choices you were forced into making to advance the story. I have yet to play the last episode but I hope Dontnod took some of the criticisms to heart as I know my opinion on this

My dad needed a new taillight housing for his 2011 9-5. I think when I checked eBay at the time there was only one available. It had a hairline crack and was going for $1500.
