It’s like looking at the other side of the “I fucked your wife” dis line rappers are overly fond of these days.

I used to perform as a drag king, but honestly, it just got... really tired, really quick. You have such a limited range, in some ways, of the “kind” of masculinity you can play off in a theatrical way to keep the interest of the audience. About half the audience will peace out during a king performance - they’re

Next time one of these idiots says referring to SHS as “Aunt Lydia” means she’s ugly, have her take a look at the actress who played Aunt Lydia in the film version of Handmaid’s Tale - Victoria Tennant.

I’m not certain it bears thinking about what Trump has done to all women if we accept that logic. The women in this country have to deal with enough without having to show us on the doll where Trump grabbed them.

It’s telling that the White House is only upset about the “liar” part and not the comparison to Aunt Lydia.

There is also the fact that when a woman does suppress any emotional reaction she is then labeled a bitch or heartless.

Besides the fact that men (I’m one I know) totally ignore all the areas of emotion that we express on a minute by minute basis - Raising your voice and getting “bigger” when someone disagrees with you? psssst thats emotional bruh. There is also the fact that when a woman does suppress any emotional reaction she is

Absolutely right. For women and men of colour, anger is totally off-limits.

But anger is only an objective intellectual assessment when men experience it. When a woman is angry she is hysterical and emotional. A man slamming his fist is strong, a woman slamming her fist is emotional.

It always amazes me how men who spout this sort of tripe tend to be deeply angry souls. It is as though (in their arbitrary configurations) ‘anger’ is not an emotion but an objective, intellectual assessment. And society has supported this viewpoint, notably when the male in question is white: our dashing military

How is forcibly penetrating someone that doesn’t want you to NOT qualify as “violence?” How is a 5 to 1 ratio in the early morning hours not “intimidation?” I would say requirements met.

Thank you for sharing your story. I was molested by my mother’s boyfriend when I was a young child and then by my best friend’s father when I was in the 7th grade. I told no one.

I had a discussion with an older gentleman about just this yesterday. He couldn’t understand why a woman would wait 20-30 years to say something. (So they all must be lying). Getting fed up with black men using this as a defense for Cosby I asked him “If you got raped would you tell anybody?” After specifying that I

To all of the misogynist trolls...dismiss is my friend. And more often than not, I also wish that I could flag for “sheer stupidity”.

I worked as a rape counselor for many years. Rape allegations divide all communities. We live in a patriarchal society controlled by men. Men have found it useful to perpetuate the lie that all women lie when it comes to allegations of rape. And, sadly, many women are equally complicit.

What got Bill Cosby “into trouble” was drugging and raping women.

“If they are going to pull The Cosby Show, they damn well better start pulling Weinstein films out of rotation on all networks.”

The question about this is, as someone posted already, where do we draw the line? First stop using Michael Jackson as an example. The FBI tried like hell to find shit on him and came up empty. As for R Kelly, Chris Brown and the rest yeah we need to some soul searching then again so does everyone else. If they are

A rapist is a rapist. A predator is a predator. Even if only ONE of Cosby’s accusers was telling the truth, he would be and still is a rapist.
