is all this really necessary?
I still dont know why people complained about the ‘mission-style’ of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. I personally loved that there were multiple mansions with different themes, such as the decaying house that was clearly a gardeners house - essentially taking the role of the ‘grass/forest level’. It was perfectly suited…
Playing through on Master Mode (with ‘pro’ hud) after a year or so of not playing at all is definitely more of a challenge and a new way to explore a game that I became all-to familiar with.
Book looks good - never watched Bojack Horseman but I read a sample of the book and it seems witty and funny but ‘real’ just like the reviews suggest
I played through the majority of Doom in handheld mode on my Switch and I can say that it played fantastically and looked great. The screen is only like 6 or 7 inches and I don’t have the ability to play a game like that in the living room very often with my kids around. Plus the gyro controls + headphones actually…
I have a hard time playing long RPG’s and open-world games on consoles since I’m generally pretty busy and our household has a lot of kids. For example: I only put about 25 hours into Skyrim on PS3 but I put about 300 hours into my Switch version. Another sprawling open-world RPG on the Switch was exactly what I…
I would agree wholly with this assessment. The (terribly named) Bacon McExtremeness Something or Other Burger is really good. Even my wife, who usually hates McDonalds, loved that burger. I know it’s a pretty basic recipe but they nailed it.
the Avengers game coming out on Switch is getting heaps of praise for not trying to look like the movies. Even though the graphics are simple and the gameplay looks relatively basic, I really appreciate the nods to comic book / 90's animation aesthetics and will probably get it for nostalgia alone.
I wasn’t in this camp before, but I’ve recently becoming more and more hopeful for a ‘Switch Pro’ (I know they won’t announce at E3)
I wonder if they sell a master ball version, guaranteed they wont say no!
I would be thrilled for a new IP that grabs me the way Splatoon did a few years ago. ARMs was okay, I’m hoping for something a little more in depth and/or darker content.
Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Fire Emblem 3 Houses, that Daemon X Machina game maybe, and some other possible unannounced game?
I was not very enthusiastic about this game (after the Wii U version’s terrible online features and un-curated mess of terrible fan-made levels) but after that jam-packed Ninty-Direct I am sold.
Looks phenomenal ... the sheer amount of content here is staggering. Also it looks like they *might* have correctly implemented the online sharing component this time around - the Wii U’s version was atrocious.
came down here to demand they edit into their article, happy to see that some people have commented about it
Agreed that seas 3 was great. the vindicators, the president episode, and the abc’s of beth are the low points IMHO. The rest is top notch, like the entire series has been.
“I did feel season 3 got too over-the-top and pretentious with its zany plot twists too frequently.”
there wasn’t a significant drop in quality ... we just realized how much we missed Jerry...
Breaking Bad is the gold standard.
