You clearly haven't been paying attention to the news recently. The album sold 617,000 copies 3 days, breaking an iTunes record for fastest sales, and is on track to top the Billboard 200. That's not a flop.

I don't see her as Death. She'd be perfect for Delirium if they decide to continue past Preludes though.

Not a bad choice, but maybe a bit old for the role. I've always seen Death as being early 20's or so in looks, an Dhavernas is 35.

A guy who used to write here called Leonard Pierce was fired a couple years ago for writing a book review for a book that wasn't out, and in-fact wasn't even finished.

Bathroom tiles and all?

I'd say that comparing genitals is probably more appropriate, then comparing tits and dicks, but a topless guy, and a topless girl are not equivalent forms of nudity in western culture. Whether it's just that the entertainment industry is so male-driven or something else as well, it's definitely true that society

I really didn't see that answer as being weaselly at all. I read is as her saying that she hadn't really noticed it, and doesn't want to have full frontal male nudity in the second season purely for tokenism, but she's interested in considering the possibility if it's appropriate and if Showtime allows it.

Orphan Black is great, and I am surprised it hasn't appeared in the top 15 so far, but I don't think it's going to be in the top 3.

It's an unranked top 11, then tomorrow is their unranked best new show of the year, followed by the ranked top three on Wed, Thurs and the #1 show will be on Friday (though I don't think it's going to be much of a shock).

A great deal of the new shows that I would consider putting in a top 10 of the year have already had best of TV articles (Americans, Hannibal, the Sundance shows). Other then Masters of Sex or OITNB, I can't think of many with even close to a shot at the top 3.

I'd give it an A.

I've seen the finale, and there's no indication that anyone other then the known dead characters are dead. Not saying your wrong, this isn't a show with a great deal of answers, but so far, it's not the case.

I'd go A-. It was a very good Trophy Wife episode.

While you have no real need for the Classic reviews, I'm really glad they do them. There's tons of TV from the past 20 years that I am only now starting to watch, and I really like the fact that for most of the shows I want to go back and watch, there's reviews for them, even if they came out before TV Club started.

Hopefully someone in the US will pick it up, though it will probably have to be premium cable unless they plan to edit/bleep it. Really fantastic show. I can't imagine why HBO would want to remake it though. Seems kind of a stupid idea.

I think the idea is that these three shows are being grouped together as one as to basically allow more shows in the top 15. They're all short season shows with between 6-8 episodes, so it's also possible that separately they might not (or might not all) have made the list, and this was the way they chose to honour

Top of the Lake has a lot of mood, and good performances, but I felt that the plotting really let it down a lot for me. Concidering how gung-ho Robin was about finding Tui, she basically didn't really do anything over the many months Tui was missing to find her. You can understand why Al wouldn't particularly want to

You thought it was possible Sundance would dub it or something? That would be dreadful, but rather unlikely.

I love the new Sigur Ros one, and probably put it in my top 5 for the year. Doesn't look like it's getting any love in the end of year lists though it seems.

Worst? not by a long shot, the main problem I have with HoC is that it all felt a bit hollow, and there were definite diminishing returns as the show went along. Not as excited for the second season as I was for the first, but I hold out hope that they might have improved things during the show's time away.
