Well this is just totally shocking. I am entirely floored by these allegations. Wow. Not the show from these two guys who are total creeps.

This is what happens when your only goal is to be edgy.

I don’t know, but as bad as everything in the report was, I can’t stop chuckling about the implication that only towards the end of the first shoot did Tesfaye, aka Weeknd, seem to realize that the cult leader character wasn’t actually the hero of the show.

This is what it looks like when a middle aged man is left alone to speak in the voice of girls or women. Euphoria is his creepy male fantasy of teenage girls. I would expect nothing less from this guy than his ideal female archetype to be women enjoying sexual assault. We are past this. Let’s stop.

I had to google Sam Levinson because I never got around to watching Euphoria and the image results show the face of a man who I 100% believe would be the type of guy to say something like “wouldn’t it be CRAZY/FUNNY/EDGY if we did something like... (insert any gross thing here)?”

It’s Amy Seimetz, not Seinmetz. (I care because she’s an awesome actress - from Stranger Things and Covenant - as well as ex-director of this nonsense, which clearly needed a female director to keep from devolving into exactly what it’s devolved into).

This is just bullshit all around. The movie looked fine and will also be so rewarding on a rewatch when you can really dive into what they put on the screen.

This is yet one more place where critics are trying to gin up a problem that audiences, by and large, just don’t have.

If you thought Quantumania looked like a CW show, you clearly don’t watch enough CW shows. I’ve spent hundreds of hours watching various Arrowverse shows and the effects on those is hysterically bad. Quantumania is extremely watchable by comparison

I don’t know, people started saying the same thing almost a decade ago and look how that turned out. Also I have no idea why you think it’ll be seen as childish or that these types of movies haven’t picked up and held onto younger fans when they clearly have.

I agree. It looked alright, and I rather liked the movie. 

The movie looked fine. Even the screen grab above that’s constantly been shit on since the trailer came out didn’t look near as bad in the theaters for all the shit it got on the internet the last couple of months. People just need to stop being jaded assholes all the time and enjoy things

I’ve said a lot about Marvel on other posts (and DC, for that matter), but I do not think that DC is seriously going to threaten Marvel, at least right now. DC squandered a lot of their opportunity through releasing a lot of bad to mediocre films (with a few legit good ones in there) and I don’t think Gunn is going to…
