kinja would need a lot of things done to make it better. I like and hate the platform simultaneously. Like an easier way to get out of the grays.

iirc stef schrader followed me from all of all the jalopnik accounts to get me out of the grays.

with Kinja, if a comment has a lot of interaction (stars+comments), it will pull it out of the greys. But you have to be followed by the blog to get perma-ungreyed (I think). I don’t think Kinja was ever designed to get this big.

Everyone defaults to it on this site. Some blogs are pretty good getting people out of the greys like here. Others like Gizmodo, not so much. (I’ve been commenting on Gizmodo a bit longer than here)

Ok but stroll is actually somewhat decent.

Audi RS2

Like the Volvo S80, XC90, and XC60 V8s
Those are yamaha engines. Yamaha also has brand recognition as a bike company so its not in a different realm of possibility.

mm yes monster pipeline punch moon

It’s been around since the 90s with the 300ZX

that’s 12000 pounds (currency)

This is the first time I’ve seen someone use the word “anime” used as a way of describing something.

This is also Mercedes Benz and they would probably go for Global Foundry’s 12 or 14 nm process for a chip (or any other similar process). They probably have to spend the money to get something that can drive 3 screens. I don’t think the older 28 nm SoCs will be able to drive those screens. 3 large high res screens

I understand that. I still think its crazy though. And most likely it will be using some sort of ARM/RISC chip over x86. I would have assumed that the indash computer driving this thing would be separate from the rest of the driver assistance processing.

That’s probably faster than my desktop and they are using it to drive a giant ass screen

What about the closet full of sweaters and the painting frame TV

I’m glad that someone else made this reference.

They are trying to do their own version of the Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood studio

This is basically me, but with computers and laptops. I don’t have a career per say when it comes to fixing this sort of thing, more of a side gig (I fix people’s computers). Thanks crappy Sony Vaio laptop that ran Windows ME. Because of that, I was able to learn how to find obscure ass software for it that ran on

iirc the predator engines are old honda clones

The Mercury Villager has a non interference VG30E compared to the Nissan Quest which has a normal VG30E.

Or creaky doors.
I was watching Goblin a while back and one of the cars (Renault Samsung SM5) had a creaky door when it was opened. Yes the dude got into a car accident with some immortal dude. But the doorline was fine. The front just crumpled. It shouldn’t be creepy.

(I might be biased, my dad had a Maxima (same car)
