Well, in all fairness that same Mongol force was just not stoppable by any military force of that time. They were so crazy effective that they mopped the floor with a massive Georgian force that was geared up to go on a crusade. On a scouting mission.

When RUSSIANS.....people who live in one of the harshest climates on Earth, a people of such ingrained steel that they have turned back every invading force and whose fighting prowess is legendary....start giving up on life in such massive numbers, you should be scared as hell.

I seem really sexist when I say this to certain people.

Understood and I completely agree that there situations that will make the most experienced police officer freak out. I just don't accept this as such a situations, considering there are multiple examples of cops acting appropriately in the video. If this was mostly media rather than protesters, it makes this guys

Let me clarify, I'm not suggesting that YOU, Mr. or Ms. Onebanana suggested anything untoward be done, but I know that Anonymous in their quest to out Brown's killer already made one grievous error in throwing names around and I think that by putting the spotlight on this guy, who is obviously just a power hungry

I would probably fail that test of restraint.

I think the comparison is a little bit different. Losing a customer because you misplaced a file is different then being thrown into this situation. Even an officer experienced in controlling large crowds and riots would struggle when surrounded by this many aggressive civilians.

When I watched the video, it certainly seemed like the drawn gun is what draws the cameramans attention. Someone shouts something to the effect of "gun raised!"

To be fair, the link is a story about how he pulled someone out of a burning SUV in 2010. You win some and you lose some.

Deadspin, endangering the lives of police by sending out their identity since 2014.

If you click on the link in the Operation Ferguson tweet, it actually takes you to a story about Ray Alpers saving a suspect's life by pulling him from a burning SUV.

You know what's a really good idea? Trolling a cop that's on edge from riots while he has a fucking rifle.

Not to defend this cop's behavior - but at what point have we passed peaceful protesting and gone into the realm of trying to agitate cops to get them on camera?

The most interesting part of that video is how clearly not afraid the white guys filming this are that the cop with a semi-automatic rifle who just threatened to kill them might actually kill them.
