You're right, this game that lasted 130 minutes, had a ton of chances for either side, a handful of exciting breakaways, a dozen highlight-reel-worthy saves from both keepers, and ended with both teams completely exhausted from 2 hours of physical battling was the worst game ever. I can open task manager fine, but can never bring it to the "front" to use it. Even if it appears to be selected through alt-tab, the screen stays stuck on the frozen app so I can't use task manager even if it's open.

Yep, and the start screen (windows 8.1) opens, and I can open other things, but they never come to the front and the screen just stays on the frozen app.

Kinda off-topic: is there anyway to force-close apps without the task manager? Sometimes a full-screen game freezes on me, and I can't alt-tab out of it or bring task manager to the front to quit it, and alt+f4 doesn't work. So then the only thing I can do is restart my computer :/

Ooh, that last part is a great point. But the thing is all that dilation puts more blood in your skin, making you feel warmer - while your core temp actually goes down. So maybe after a while your core temp going down would counteract the extra warmth that you feel?
