It’s just me and my husband, so 2 vs. 1, and he’s not too keen on leftovers. I try to cook at least once per week or so. Typically, on a Sunday afternoon when I have more time. Typically, I’m too tired after work to do too much in the way of food prep.

New lows every damn day.  You think this would be the thing that would break some of his support.  Nope.  It’s going to brushed off as ‘fake news’ by his base.  And they don’t care.  45 is going to protect them from the baby killer Democrats or whatever it is they need to believe to support such an awful person.

Sadly, not surprising.  I doubt this isn’t going to change the minds of most of his base.  It will be more fake news and lies.  I know they don’t have to, but I hope one of the anonymous sources reveals themselves and has tape / video of this.  Even then....none of his shit sticks to him.  :(

Yup. I almost killed my poor mother when I was born. She wouldn’t stop bleeding, and almost had to have an emergency hysterectomy if the bleeding didn’t stop. She wasn’t supposed to be able to have kids after me, but my brother came along. He was an accident and was a C-section.

This is what keeps me up at night. He cried about how the 2016 election would be fraudulent, despite winning it. I think that was more what he had to tell himself to protect his ego for not winning the popular vote. Fuck the Electoral College.

Definitely something to ponder. I do find myself clicking on abortion articles less and less. It seems like there’s always some state that wants to restrict it in horrible ways. But then it goes to the courts, and often gets overturned. Do I want to get myself worked up over some bullshit state bill, that’s not even

The ironic thing is, there are already speed bumps on my street. They’re fairly shallow, so you can still go over them 20 - 25 mph, depending on your car. They’re also spaced far apart and it’s easy to pick up speed between them, especially with some hills. I’ve done it, not even noticing.

My neighborhood is a cut through for Waze drivers, and not many obey the speed limits. Several of my drive slow signs got stolen. I was fond of the one that said “Slow Down, My Cat is Stupid”. What a waste of $30.

Sadly, I know people who are ‘undecided’.  I don’t get it.  A debate is going to change their vote.  Even if Biden wins all 3 debates, somehow right wing media will say 45 won them.  I just want this shit show election over with.

I thought it was a great speech.

And he’s talking about this in the midst of a pandemic, a terrible economy with millions out of work, racial unrest?  I can’t even.

My neighborhood was the suburbs of Atlanta back in the l960s. Based on stories I’ve heard from the original owners, it was majority white, and very few of the women worked. In fact, there were actually two separate neighborhood garden clubs, one for the housewives and another for the women that worked, or didn’t have

Exactly. I fact checked one Republican friend for the nonsense they posted all of the damn time. I always asked do you know this random internet stranger? If so, how do you know this is real?

No kidding. And much in the way of PPE is designed with the male body in mind. I have to wear PPE on the regular for my job. My life changed when I bought women’s safety glasses, and the fit was far superior.

Disney vacations are also quite expensive. I’m guessing with many people out of work, or others dealing with economic uncertainty, they cancelled any upcoming fancy vacations. And being in Central Florida in the summer in a theme park is brutal enough, let alone while wearing a face mask.

I was thinking about this when the protests started. I know of several suburban, white women. I wouldn’t say they were ever hardcore Republicans, but typically voted that way. Many didn’t like 45 in 2016, and still don’t like him now. However, Hillary was the oh so corrupt one, so they voted for what they thought was

Both of my grandmothers lived into their early 90s.

My dad is a lifelong ditto head, and I had to listen to Rush, whenever I was in the car with him. My dad was brainwashed by him. He never wore ties, but bought several of the ugly ones that Rush supposedly had designed. He started buying Snapple by the case. He even figured out the VHS player, so he could record

Totally predictable, sadly.  It’s going to be nothing but a yo-yo of kids, and faculty going in and out of quarantine, further disrupting the ability to learn.

I mean, this is an election year. It should be up to the next President to determine RBG’s replacement, should she retire / die (heaven forbid!). Wasn’t that the excuse in 2016 on why Merrick Garland couldn’t be voted on by the Senate?
