You can say it, because comments are somewhat protected (although an XOJane commenter was successfully sued by a musician). But Gawker been sued a half dozen times in the past year, so hell yes they are being careful about potentially litigious terminology.

Oh yeah I guess he was acquitted for the one young girl. Charges were never brought for the (many) others. Such a shame. But please note the verdict of the trials of the officers that beat Rodney King and Freddie Gray also found them innocent, but we know otherwise. Courts get it wrong a lot of the times.

I agree until the last point. The public cannot move on. And there is nothing he can say/do to really atone for it. We are in a catch-22. The only thing he could’ve done was have a career where people were less likely to google him.

I agree. I think the difference between this case, Cosby and R. Kelly is that the latter two were never tried and forced to account for the allegations. He can never admit to raping her, even though I think he probably realizes that he did. His answers are the best that can be expected.
