That dinner scene was so painful. Ellie coming down so hard on the subject of consent was glorious - and that comment about her dad coming from a different time was depressingly true.

Chloe has been great this season. Between reaching out to Daisy, and playing middle ground to her parents. That phone call between her and Mark was heartbreaking.
If you ever watch Jessica Jones, he was positively terrifying as the villain Kilgrave. A narcissistic rapist whose powers let him pretty much use everyone around him. Tennant was fantastic in the role.
Seeing Ellie destroy Tom's things was equally satisfying. Tom is a selfish idiot, and Ellie giving him such retribution was fabulous.
Mark tends to get a lot of flak, but I actually find his material to be pretty heartbreaking. I think because for me, even though I get frustrated with his behavior, I also completely understand it. They pretty well spelled things out early in the season in that scene with him and Paul - how nothing has helped him…
I too am salivating at the possibilities of Supergirl and Arrow interacting.
Poor Tom Cavanaugh said at Comic Con that he got lots of hate mail for HR.
I would pay real money to see a scenario involving Kara trying to get Oliver to smile more.
Why oh why would we want Oliver to lose the half-beard? It's his signature look.
Straight from the expert herself!
You don't think she had much to do? I thought they way she depicted the unbearable grief and despair - and all the material that came with it - gave her lots to do. I guess she's not really an active character in terms of having a plot-driven story, but she has a very internal, character-driven journey. Same is…
True. Though he looks like a saint compared to a lot of other men on the show this season.
Rory Rip Paul?
A few episodes back, the Axehampton House guy mentioned something about no one ever noticing him (iirc).
Can anyone do better than David Tennant though?
Not really. Beth is a deeply compelling character and Whittaker is excellent in the role. Seeing the evolution of her character going into this season has been incredible - the way she channels her own grief into helping other women, it's such a great storyline for her. One of my favorite things about this season.
Rory returns to Doctor Who as a companion and develops a crush on 13…
It would be such a mistake to make Hardy and Miller into a couple, for so many reasons. I really like them being platonic friends and partners.
I almost felt like there was too much going on in this episode. There were so many different characters and plot threads going on that I felt not all of it got the screentime that it deserved. At this point, there are so many suspects that it's getting hard to keep track.
Especially with Killer Frost.
