Her cracking up during the conversation with the musician caught me so off-guard that I almost wondered if it wasn't just Olivia Colman losing it during the scene.

One of the things I'm really enjoying this season is that I feel like they've reframed the show around Hardy, Miller, and Beth (and to a lesser extent Mark) and is finally to the point of examining their lives post-crisis. Unlike the last two seasons, none of their lives are currently in turmoil - rather they're

McKenna? (Is my hope.)

"Did I ever tell you about how my parents died when I was a child and how hard it's been for me ever since?"

"No one comes to church anymore and I've lost my timeship. What is the world coming to?"

And that she feels so much shame for it.

I feel like I have a bit of a soft spot for assholes recently, but I love how Hardy can be quite an asshole…but pretty understandable at the same time. (Even though I sympathize with him, I also find myself sympathizing with those who get frustrated with him.)

This show really has stunning and raw authenticity in the way it handles trauma and grief. Just every piece of how they've handled the aftermath of the rape is utterly amazing.

The ex-husband seemed to have Trish's clothes (?) and muddy shoes. So I'm guessing it wasn't him, but he knows something.

That little smirk Ellie gave after Hardy threatened the rope-maker guy with a warrant. I love these two together.

I haven't actually read Liveship Traders yet, though they're on my list. And I was pretty skeptical about a new Fitz/Fool series myself, but they've proven amazing.

Any other Robin Hobb fans around these parts? I just started in on Assassin's Fate after doing a re-read of Fool's Quest to get myself ready (and I've been doggedly avoiding any and all spoilers). I full expect to be a total mess when I finish the book, since the FitzChivalry/Fool series have been among my very

I'm biased cause I'm not a casual viewer with any of these universes…but I do feel the benefits outweigh the negatives.

One of my favorite moments of the season is when she chews out Tom for lying on the stand. That was glorious.

Now we finally get to learn what he was really up to while he was pretending to be Phil, the film student.

Yeah, there was a lot of heartbreak for Joe in his "I can't even explain or understand it myself!" what with him realizing he was in love with Danny.

A lot of due credit is given to Colman and Tennant, but Jodie Whittaker is amazing. The show definitely wouldn't be what it is without her.

I love the moodiness of the show. I didn't dislike second season as much as others, but I definitely missed this aspect of it from season one. The way the fear and tension is imbued into every aspect of the storytelling process - it's exquisite.

I couldn't bring myself to watch Gracepoint once it became clear that it was practically a shot-for-shot, line-for-line remake.

It's also a testament to Tennant as an actor - to see him go from Doctor Who, to this, and then to Jessica Jones. He is so much more than just the 10th Doctor (and I adore the 10th Doctor).
