You know what else would've been shocking? The writers not insisting on re-showing her death at least once an episode.

I'm also skeptical that Iris is for real dead.

I know there are issues with the Killer Frost storyline, but I'm still really enjoying it. It's fun getting to see Caitlin go evil, and Panabaker's clearly having a good time. I particularly like the undercurrent of scorn to the character - like she can't help seeing the people around her for the fools they are.

I love that she spent the whole episode calling him Winslow.

A lot of love is (justly) being given to Cat Grant in her return - but I continue to love Brenda Strong as Lillian Luthor. That she was so unfazed by Alex pointing a gun in her face was my favorite.

There's a degree to which Snapper Carr modestly filled that role in her absence.

Yeah, but this also gives us the opportunity to still see David Harewood play Cyborg-Superman, which I'm totally down with.

Well, the only time Arrow has even broached aliens was the last crossover.

Except that he's not saving the day - he's being controlled by a woman to do her bidding. Which says a lot.

It's kind of corny, but I rather loved it for the way it bugged Rhea.

Arrow had episodes with superpowered aliens? :P

I found that to be incredibly confusing. Especially in the scene when Guardian did actually show up.

And tonight's was "Resist"!

Yes, she can. She just pretends otherwise.

That speech that Cat Grant made to the city totally felt like the writers were aiming that at our current president.

I was almost giddy with how many women were owning tonight's episode.

CAT GRANT! I didn't realize how much I missed her until she made that entrance. I shamelessly loved every scene she was in tonight.

I would add to this, games that put in platforming that aren't platformers and don't take the time to implement proper platforming mechanics. (Borderlands, I'm looking at you.)

I actually don't mind them at this point one way or the other. I've always loved their dynamic in a purely platonic way. At the same time, I admire the way the show has found such a unique way of examining the "what if" for them this season without necessarily having to commit to anything.

One of my pet peeves are when games give you a quest marker, and then it turns into a giant spot on your map, and you basically have to wander around the entire area until you happen upon the right trigger. To be fair, I think it's to give some more interactivity and challenge beyond "go here - do this" but I've
