So long as she doesn't revert to season 1 Skye I'm good with it.

Hydra took over with a fascist state and it's pretty well scared everyone into submission. So I don't think it's so much "acceptance" as it is "self preservation."

A double agent as a good guy!

Even his picture was boring.

Yeah, she would have to be Aida, because it solidifies her as the Big Bad.

Desmond David Hume.

The LMD arc onward in particular has been excellent. And the building up of Aida and the Darkhold over the season has been particularly great.

May and Fitz are scary Hydra! And Coulson trying to be a loyalist. It's all so terrifying.

I don't have issue with them existing, either. But I do have issue with the growing pressure to impose them on every franchise that we can - regardless of whether or not it will be good for the franchise. Too many developers are seeing it as the ultimate form of creating worthwhile experience, because it's all about

That's an interesting distinction (and I understand your repulsion for "map game" though there are games and series to which it's a rather fair way to describe it).

See, I find this a really interesting idea - because I would argue that the Dark Souls franchise isn't open world. To me, open-world means a big map with lots of icons, peripherals, quests, collectibles, and a fair assortment of content that can be completed as you want, with freedom to explore the map on your own

While I heartily agree that not all RPGs need to be open-world, given the success of Horizon and BotW, I think it's fair to say the concept won't be going away anytime soon.

I remember reading complaints along the same lines of Anders in Dragon Age II - fall into a romance with him without meaning to. (Which was a shame, because Anders was dull as hell compared to his time in Awakening.)

Maybe it's my lowered expectations due to mediocre reviews and complaints about animations, but I've actually really been enjoying thsi game. The open-world elements are solid, the main missions are good, and combat is fantastic. I love the instantaneous effect in all my move sets - dodging, jumping, the omni-blade

Thanks. :)

Ack, you're right! I meant Crossroads of Twilight.

Yes, Verin turns out technically be Black Ajah, but…

I liked Cadsuane at times - especially in her early appearances - because she was so unfazed by Rand. Particularly when he was in these terrible moods where everyone else is fleeing in terror, and she just waltzes through it all whatever.

Winter's Heart is the most non-story-driven of a book I've read in life. Literally nothing happens.

I know this game is getting a lot of hate (some of it justified) and I'm only about 10 hours into it, but I'm enjoying it so far. I haven't encountered any of the weird facial animations - just a few glitches here and there. I'm liking the crew so far, the planet exploration is fun, and combat is a blast. Maybe I'm
