What a tangled web!
Or she could've been faking.
Is Willa Holland off doing a movie or something?
Adrian's still around and in the cast. I wouldn't call it "dropped" so much as "been put on the backburner."
I'm gonna miss him too, but I take comfort in how they left the door for him coming back.
She's going down a dark path and he's worried - for her own sake! I actually respected him a lot for calling her out on it and being honest to Oliver about it.
I don't. Being a dark and intense person is part of his character. I don't want him to radically change into something else. And frankly, his intensity - and all the flaws that come with it - is part of what drew me to the character (and show) to begin with.
And he stands by his convictions. I understood why Lance was reacting the way he did to the questions about Laurel, but I also thought Rene was completely in the right. And I was glad Rene was unwilling to apologize for it.
I like both Curtis and Rory (and I'm hopeful about Dinah, and want to see a redemption for Evelyn) but Rene is the best new addition to the show this season.
Oh, I like that idea! It could explain why she wants to know about his ties to the Bratva.
Maybe because their president was recently murdered by aliens, and they're reporting on that round-the-clock.
I always appreciate some solid Quentin Lance snark re: Team Arrow (and friends) and their costumed antics.
Ack, my head hurts.
Solid episode. I gave a little cheer when Lance first came on-screen. It's been too long. And the moment they showed Rene was the one left behind to keep an eye on him, I knew their storyline together wouldn't disappoint.
I've been hearing the use of frak quite a bit on tv these days. So glad it's making its way into the vernacular.
That's a great analysis. And I say this as a huge fan of Arrowverse, but I think you're giving the writers too much credit.
"A week! The entire earth was created in a week!"
"Someday you must tell me how you did it."
Ah, that makes sense.
That's fair. And I appreciate the concept of Rip killing one of the team just to show how far he's gone (and even that he and Sara had a connection); but at the same time, Arrowverse has played around with killing and bringing the Lance sisters back to life so many times now, it's bordering on farce.
