So what you're saying is, Vandal Savage is Apocalypse.

Also it's less likely much of Arrowverse would happen. Merlyn wouldn't go to the LoA, instigate the Undertaking, or destroy the Queen's Gambit, meaning Oliver and Sara never would become Green Arrow and White Canary. And that's just for starters.

Maybe dragging Rip along for the ride can be part of the torture.

That sounds great to me! I'm already salivating at all the potential emotional repercussions.

Oh, I think it holds up. And my family still quotes it a lot.

I just can't imagine any of the cast members actually going along with it if Rip returns and tries to take leadership duties away from Sara.

It's also worth pointing out that Rip/Phil claimed his film had a female lead.

Or it could be a completely original model not based off anyone, is what I'm saying. (I don't think Mace is likely, I just threw it out there because he's the only original character from this season that's still around.)

I thought they used him just enough, and were smart to let him go at the right moment.

Here's to hoping LMD May is the one who takes Radcliffe down.

That might be a bit too Empire Strikes Back.

Also, last season she defined being the Cavalry as someone who makes the hard call, when talking to Coulson after he's killed Ward.

Imo, it was obvious from the get-go it was a simulation because there was no way they were going to let May escape that early on in the story.

After Doctor Who, Broadchurch, and LoT, this is the first time I felt like I got to see him expanding his range.

I know I complain about this a lot…but yes, Arrowverse is probably never going to bother to establish any firm rules of time travel.

When they said they were going ahead to The Last Crusade, I was kind of like, uh, you do know that Spielberg directed all those movies, right?

I dunno…no other villain in Arrowverse has just been as blase-non-threatening-dull bad as Vandal Savage. He really was in a class by himself.

I'm hoping they'll let Arthur Darvill remain Phil for a good long while. He's far more entertaining and less douchey this way.

I second everything Holy Lance.

If there is someone else still, I feel like it's more likely someone we haven't met prior to this season. Otherwise that means he has another main cast member locked up somewhere (which could potentially be redundant). So I feel it would more likely be someone like Mace.
