Well first no one would race this in a class against an EV so that point is moot. If you wanted to do a single lap time attack against a comparable and prepped EV I think I’d take that bet. You must not realize how low a CG you have with a skateboard design...........and all that instant torque.

The future is strange and EV’s have ruined it for me. Every new muscle car / performance car or thought of me tuning another project car immediately feels pointless when there are a crap ton of regular people driving to Starbucks in their Model 3 that’ll blow my doors off without even noticing I hit the gas.

It’s like Alanis doesn’t understand how STATISTICS work. She wanted to hammer on them for trying to identify a target audience and understand the preferences of that demographic. You prefer teens with cell phones going 80 while not looking at the road, that sounds much much better.  

I want that for everyone on a cell phone pretending they are actually driving a normal car.  They are 1000 times more dangerous........so basically everyone at this point.

The idea is fundamentally flawed, but what if they did this as a way to “earn stock”? Want to invest in Tesla but can’t afford the stock? Pickup some riders here and there and once you get to $x you’ll be awarded a share of stock. Win / Win

Nothing to this level of critical importance to the future success / viability of the company however.  Between this and the Fuel Cell partnership I really wonder what Honda Executives are thinking.

This has been common knowledge in the industry for years.  Some manufacturers are pushing to make EV’s and meet regulations and others are simply paying for the privelage of not doing that.  

Drive a PHEV.......then go drive a Model 3.  Then tell me what is a better experience.

Why don’t they just hire every driver for their talent, tell them to STFU and drive the car.  Then we would all be a lot happier.

Never once got in my Model 3 and thought Elon under-delivered.  Not once.
