I mostly wish places would tell me ingredients. As someone allergic to corn, something really difficult to avoid, it becomes so much worse when restaurants won't tell me what's in their foods.

My parents found out the hard way that many things in the Bahamas are just plain closed during the off season. I would recommend research before going to make sure you're not headed to such a tourist location that nothing will be open.

I worked with a gentlemen who complained about all the work he had to do and then would tell me I wasn't working hard enough (because I didn't complain about my work, he assumed I wasn't working). I didn't complain because I liked my work, so I assumed he complained because he didn't. Eventually we came to an

I guess so. But mine have worked for the last 3 months. I guess I just treat them well?

Boots come with cardboard cut outs to keep them standing up straight. I just keep them. Why bother with have to pay for something new?

This is especially effective with pictures of babies and children. For some residents, baby animals are also a good pick. Dementia , and especially Alzheimer's dementia, can be incredibly frightening. If you woke up one morning and couldn't remember parts of your life, looked in the mirror and saw a stranger, wouldn't

Walmart doesn't price match themselves, which is kinda crap. So when we go to buy video games we have to check the Internet price first so we can order direct to store if it's cheaper. It's the exact same game from the shelves but we made some nice store clerk get it for us instead.

I prefer the Misfit Shine for my money. Probably because I like attractive things. It functions exactly the same as a fitbit, it looks a lot more stylish, I can wear it in a variety of ways, and their customer service is bar none the best I have ever witnessed.

Nope. I didn't get the one that had 3G. I believe it attaches to something called at&twifi

I know that my Kindle can purchase books in the airport without paying for internet (Paperwhite). Do you know if it works on the plane?

When rented I lived in a college town. Rent at most places was set and the same for all units. You didn't negotiate because they would just say no. They knew someone else would quickly take your place.

Do you mean we should buy for thanksgiving now? Because christmas is more than 8 weeks away. Or should we buy Christmas airline tickets further out than 8 weeks?

Baked pastas (e.g., lasagna, baked ziti) are time consuming and not particularly easy to make. At that point, I'm not really paying them for a couple dollars of noodles, I'm paying them for their time and expertise. And I'm completely okay with that.

Sorry. In my opinion, by excluding the Air you've only shown your bias against Macs. This is not an even-handed review.

I'm not entirely sure why they are giving it crap based on it's OS. Spec for spec, it's the best ultrabook. If you're also looking at OS and cost, that's a different matter. But just thinking about hardware, the air has a ton to offer.

OS aside, it's better spec for spec. I was in the market for whatever computer was best for my requirements, light weight, fast, durable, regardless of OS. OS shouldn't matter. I was literally shopping for whichever was best and got the air because it has the best spec. So some people do shop by spec and not OS as you

I think I just lack the little thing in my brain that makes people want to have kids. My parents assume I will one day because "I would be a great parent", but I'm pretty sure I would end up just yelling at a crying baby because it won't shut up. Seems like a lot of work for many years just so that I can have a human

So... how do you find out how much the lenses cost? Like, how much is it if I want transitions? Without signing up and giving them all of my information.

I ran the Chicago marathon the year that it was canceled part way through due to excessive heat. They were running out of sports drink at the water stops it was so bad. And there were lines for the aid stations! I came down with a pretty horrible case of heat exhaustion with headache, cramps, and elevated temperature.

Do you recommend a resume or academic vita for industry jobs (meaning, non-academic)?
