Yeah, they are very blended. I think we only used C to start so that we were forced to do some things the hard way. But even C++ teaches you to do some things the hard way where if you went straight to C# you wouldn't learn things like trash collection (necessarily). I dono. I think either way, starting with C or C++

Lol, yes. Convenience samples. I use them all the time. You can pay them in extra credit and you have access to hundreds of them. Trying to get normal people to partcipate is really really difficult. Some of my studies require them. People are busy, and your research is not important to them.

I guess..... only because C is easier? It's not object oriented yet, so it's a little less complex. But my university did do C then C++.

So, for me, I meticulously track my credit card spending and never spend more than what is in my checking account. So, it's as if I'm using my debit card, but it has points and benefits. I'm not allowed to spend more than what is in my account.

It was a suggestion in my social psychology class because people who have a positive outlook on their own lives seem to fair better than those who don't. I think there's a lot of possible caveats, but it's a really interesting idea. That like, if you have the reverse of this that you could be labeled as depressed. If

"The Social Animal" by Elliot Aronson (big name in social psychology) talks about the intricacies of the attribution bias and all of the ways in which we use biases in our life. If this is an area you enjoy, you will love this book.

Um, did I not explain the topic well? cause that's not what I'm saying at all. I agreed with you, I just added to your comment. I'm not sure why you're telling me how I'm wrong?

Vote: C
Why: So many other languages are based on C. If you learn C you can pretty much pick up and run with C++, C#, Objective C, etc. Java is easier if you start with C (In my opinion). It's easier to see how algorithms work if you know where they came from. I might be biased. I learned Java in high school and then C

Operant conditioning anyone? Antecedent, behavior, consequence. Wanna know more? Read some B.F. Skinner. Behavioral psychology has been around since the 1930's, awesome stuff to study.

There's some suggestion that this bias is evolutionarily beneficial! If you believe that your good outcomes are all externally motivated (I only got that A on the exam because of luck) and others are internally motivated (He got an A because he is smart) then you would show symptoms of clinical depression. Because

Is there such a thing as a "dummy" google account anymore? Especially since any new account now requires your phone number?

It was interesting to me to find out that bigger libraries like to try to keep a hard copy of things, because digital versions are often lost over time as repositories update and data gets moved around. Something I had never thought about.

Thanks!!!

I only have one main issue with it. I used to have google+ but canceled it because I never used it. When youtube reopened my account it had all of my old friends connected still. Now everytime I comment on Youtube, they have to hear about it. That bugs me. Also, I have no idea how to tell if someone has responded to

My dad gave my mom a car for Christmas once. It backfired cause he bought her a van (she had a really nice Accord) and she hated it. He got to drive a van for the next 4 years. On the plus side, I got his Ford Focus from the deal.

Also, sorry about that. The website kept saying it couldn't post.... I kept trying... and it showed that it only posted once. But I guess that was wrong.

I fold the laundry and then put it in the spot where that person sleeps. They're forced to put it away before they sleep that night.

Music composition to experimental psych to user experience (although the last one isn't so much a change as a greater defining)
