@skylr616: I have no interest in your silliness nor pathetic memes.

@skylr616: You clearly have literally NO idea what The Scene is or what it stands for. Torrents have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with The Scene, they don't release them there, they don't touch them there and they sure as hell don't condone them there. They're leaked by other users. Don't claim you understand

@dirty: Your opinion somehow dictates for others? Okay, point taken, you don't like small portable devices. Millions do.

@Og, the Bridge Burner: That is correct, the FTP leaks are derived from the IRC pre announces. Didn't want to over-complicate it. As far as 'consumers' (?) are concerned, it starts at FTP.

@RT100: Megaupload is very far down the chain so you're right, less risk.

@AΨB: Torrents originate from FTP sources, not Usenet. No scene group uploads to usenet, directly to FTP which then trickles down via leaks.

@RT100: The reason they are rar'ed is that torrents originate from FTP transfers, way before RS or Usenet is even in the picture. As such, FTP transfers benefit a lot from threading which is gained by splitting a large file into smaller chunks. It is also pre-defined as a rule by The Scene. Torrents are auto-created

Very very good idea, I love it!

@trs: Yes.

@dixiehwy25: The way they treat expats nowadays and the tens of thousands who've packed up and left, indicates to me Dubai is no longer interested in maintaining high worldwide standards. What they want to do is create a sort of Monaco (rich people only) but they have no real idea how and have messed it up beyond

If the Storm's anything to go by, probably won't be too life-changing.

@ding-dang: I'm not sure if you're being serious or joking around. I feel gullibly vulnerable. :(

@Blackened: Nexus One was pulled from Google's online store. Will still be available from carriers. I'm sure T-mobile in the US is still providing them, likewise the Desire is plentiful in the UK.

@MarcusMaximus: Then you would need a constant stream of water turning the turbine no? This does it from a fixed volume of liquid.

Interesting but don't see it becoming mainstream or heavily used quick.. Normal iPhone contact list shows you who you can facetime anyway..

Would need a few for mates too! Imagine the fun!

Tethering seems to work fine here in UK. No extra charges or gimmicky apps.

@TerryinSt.Paul: Disclaimer's do not mitigate legal issues. Whether it's on a construction site denouncing all responsibility of injuries/deaths or a silly one on illegal torrent sites, it doesn't stick in court. Parodies are legal, if they weren't, no block of text could ever protect you.

@Future Retro: Considered a parody, no ramifactions. Ever watched South Park?
