I think a lot of people watching this who're saying "I'd never do that!" are greatly overestimating themselves.

I think a lot of guys who are high and drunk might flee in the immediate aftermath of discovering the girl he just had sex with has been stabbed to death, yes.

Yeah, when we're talking about his post-murder behavior (i.e. not calling the cops, running away, breaking back in, grabbing the knife), we're basically talking about five minutes. You can't really expect people to be coldly rational in the immediate aftermath of that sort of situation.

So can we assume that the knife isn't the actual murder weapon, since Naz found it exactly where he left it pre-murder? That's where I'm leaning at the moment.

He wasn't that calm and collected. He did initially take off running in a panic.

A refresher on this show's protracted development history:

He also had Chi-Raq and the Cronenberg movie last year, so it was probably the best film year he'd had in a really long time.

Those Deadwood DVD commentaries he did with McShane are some of the funniest shit I've ever heard.

It seems weird to say it’s okay to hate teams but you shouldn’t hate the players on those teams. Hating the players is half (if not more) of the fun. Team hate and player hate feed off of each other. Jeter and the Yankees collectively made themselves much more hateable than they would’ve been if separate.

Here's the video he did for Netflix announcing this:

Eh, let the man make his money until the next worthwhile TV vehicle comes around.

Wilder was 75 when he directed his last film. Cukor was 82. So Clint's got them beat.

Am I right in thinking that Eastwood is the oldest studio filmmaker ever at this point? Thinking back through film history, I can't think of any other Hollywood directors who were still making movies in their mid-80s.

The Wachowskis clearly earned their membership 20 years ago with The Matrix (a film that won four Oscars), so there's a bizarre irony in the fact that them having since come out as transgender is likely what finally got them invited today.

One week? Please. Two days tops.

“I don’t know whether it passes or not. We have Jack Sparrow.”

King Ralph

Lincoln Lawyer, Bernie, Killer Joe, Mud, Magic Mike, Dallas Buyers Club, Wolf of Wall Street, and Interstellar was a pretty good run though.

I will die on my "Fargo (TV show) is overrated" hill.
