It’s made me want to play the first one again, to see if I wrote it off too quickly. Controls seem more responsive though, and the level design and puzzles much more inventive. I can see what you mean with the Laika comparison, the animation in the game is outstanding.

You guys I finally finished Hollow Knight last weekend! My copy of Mario 3D World is coming tomorrow, but I still want to knock out Mario Galaxy [3D All-Stars] before I start it. I don’t really want to be playing two Mario games at once.

Super Mario 3D World with the wife. While I love the ability to pick up another character like in the ‘New’ Mario game, I do wish it wasn’t mapped to the same button as item use and running. I can see it adding to the chaotic fun in a party-type mode but when we’re playing in a way where we’re working together, it’s

Just got Little Nightmares 2 as well and absolutely loving it.

On the last mission of Doom Eternal. I’ve collected most of the trinkets and whatnot as well, so I’ll be doing some of the other extra stuff afterward to get the plat.

For the second time in just as many game deliveries, Amazon has left an empty envelope on my porch. I get the delivery notification, go outside, and it’s just an open envelope sitting there. And because I grab it right when I get the notification I have a hard time believing some passer-by is robbing me that quickly.

I picked up Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and Good Job! for the switch, so I’ll be spending some time with that this weekend. Those will be good for some local co-op this weekend with my partner. I’ve been going along with Yakuza other than that, focusing alot on the mini games. I finished the business

I only played a little this last week, as I actually ended up seeing some friends for the Superbowl (the game itself was boring) and for dinner later in the week.

Probably some more Apex Legends Season 8, Street Fighter V, saw Little Nightmares 1 was on PS Now and grabbed it, never played it and knew about the upcoming sequel.

I think the grip was only compatible with the original 3ds

You for sure are not alone. I finished Eternal, uninstalled it maybe a week later.

The 1.40 public beta just dropped for American Truck Simulator, and I cracked into it last night. The biggest draw for the patch, besides being the scaffold on which will be built the hooks into the next DLC (Wyoming in ATS; Iberia when the companion patch for Euro Truck Simulator 2 hits, and both are solid SHUT UP

I’ve been realizing that I seem to be pulling away from the allure of modern gaming and chasing the new releases as they come out, as I’ve been enjoying diving back into older generations much more for the last year or so. I’m still chipping away at Grandia, but the plot’s pretty thin so we’ll see how much farther I

Finishing up Paper Mario: the Origami King and really looking forward to seeing what’s coming up since I’ve loved almost every minute. Then I’m weirdly excited about going back to get 100% of collectibles and hidden Toads and such.

Well, because I’m a weirdo, I’ve actually been playing through the story mode of Phantasy Star Online Episode III: CARD Revolution. I picked it up many years ago at launch and bounced off of it hard, but a few years back I picked it up again and found that, while I don’t love it, I do find it pretty interesting. (It’s

I’m probably gonna dabble in some of the demos too.

This is turning into a log of my Persona 5: Royal status. I just started the second semester, which means the 5th dungeon will probably reveal itself pretty soon. I’m averaging about a dungeon a week, but the life sim section of summer break after beating the 4th dungeon was so incredibly long. You don’t realize how

Dark Souls, Ys VIII, and whatever else. I watched a retrospective on the Dragon Age games this week and that kind of gave me an itch to take another crack at Origins. But I have files in both Pathfinder Kingmaker and Pillars of Eternity that I should probably focus on if I’m going to play another RPG.

I took down

A NDA game from a cool studio that rhymes with lizard.

I’m currently playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Apparently I like Ubisoft-map type games.
