I want to see Tenet and New Mutants. But the idea of walking into a theater and sitting for hours in a room with strangers right now makes my anxiety flare up.

He was truly the best and his Batman is still great in 2020. (Seriously folks. Go back and watch some of those episodes.)
I’ve found this to be an effective coping strategy.
I kind of want to pull a creationist aside right now, grab them by the throat, and say
God I miss Adam West. The world is a little darker without him.
I’m lucky enough to have a friend who’s excited for the Snyder Cut of Justice League simply because to her, it means more of Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot in their respective roles. (She likes the theatrical version for the same reason.) Already sent her the newest WW1984 trailer, and I’ll pass along whatever Aquaman 2 new…
It’s still decent, imo. I like Ben Affleck from, like, 2005 on, maybe? ‘90s Affleck needs to stop whatever it is he’s doing back there.
I have one wide mouth and one... small mouth Nalgene bottle. I miss the ease in cleaning the wide mouth, but I mostly use the one with the smaller opening because I don’t miss spilling water on myself.
Missed opportunity in casting Ben Affleck instead of him in The Accountant.
Funny you mentioned doughnuts; someone surprised me with one yesterday morning. Not usually my thing, but it--the gesture as well as the thing itself--really made my morning. ;)
I’m not drunk; I swear. I guess that was just some regular old-fashioned insane rambling.
Haha, I meant it doesn’t come up much for me because I don’t go anywhere. But if I’m at the gym or something, I just move away from everyone for water.
Drink when you need to, just do it away from people if you can.
That or just hold your breath the entire time. What could go wrong?
Faux, I’m going to be completely honest here. I understood about 30% of what you wrote.
Safest bet is just drink when no one’s around. I usually just retreat to my own little corner if I need water or something.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, I don’t need to leave much.
Soda will forever be one of my vices. I switched to drinking diet years ago. So now instead of a shitload of calories, I’m just sealing my fate and guaranteeing some horrific form of cancer.
I sweat and work out entirely too much to not drink water. I recently stopped (mostly) drinking caffeine hoping that would be helpful in staying better hydrated too.
It sucks, because even with a filter, the tap water in this town is gross. I drink it anyway, but it’s not great.
I get these things so it’s not all water…
I’ve got a hydroflask with the coffe-type lid, because I really dislike straws. Turns out I’m still happier just pulling the whole thing off and drinking from the wide-mouth bottle instead. And you’re right about the bite of carbonation (although I never considered it salty, that’s interesting!), which is pretty much…
I bought a 34 dollar hydroflask that was great.... until i regretted not buying the straw cap, like an idiot. For some reason (i’m guessing carbonation) seltzers and sparkling water sort of have a salty-ish bite to them which i kinda hate. unfortunately i’m still drinking soda at unacceptable quantities and i have to…
A few months ago I bought a super insulated water bottle after using a cheap plastic one for the past few years. It is amazing - two ice cubes and the water stays cold for 20 hours.
It’s funny you say that about guilting yourself into a water bottle, because I have a whole host of ones I’ve tried and then discarded. (I’ve also tried various tricks like adding lemon or mint or other infusions--I just don’t like it, and it’s a problem.) The closest I’ve come to drinking water consistently is AHA,…
