Yakuza series has more of a throwback beat-em-up feel at times, but with a few different layers of depth depending on which yakuza game it is. It’s not like the easy-lock on/quick-counter Batman Arkham style, and has enough tweaks and variation that I really enjoy it. It takes a little more attention that in Sleeping

Continue my slow journey through Pyre and some more Sleeping Dogs. It’s been interesting revisiting Sleeping Dogs after playing through the entire main Yakuza series. There are similarities and my tolerance for that classic open world style game has changed. I enjoy the vendors chatting and some of the specific

Well, based on when I first saw an Indiana Jones movie, I’ll be able to play a big budget John Wick game sometime during my retirement years.

I can hold my breath for 10 minutes!

Not sure what it says about my cameraputerphone use when it seems like so much worse to hop on to my laptop in order to engage on the internet! 20 years ago me is so confused, seeing as he’s wowed by newfangled wifi!

Well, I had to log on via my laptop just now in order to say that it’s not even working on safari now—it shows me as logged in and then I try to post and it says “You” instead of AlwaysWrong like I’m not signed in. I think my phone is infested with herbs...

Okay, it seems like maybe kinja is working for me again, maybe? Something went wrong with stuff for a while and I could never stay logged in enough to comment. Update: still won't work on Chrome on my phone after trying multiple things. Had to blow the dust off safari, fingers crossed.

I’m looking forward to this one for the change of pace, but I still have Kiwami 2 staring at me, wondering why I’m not playing it RIGHT NOW. But I will, soon.

So, they’re going to kill off the wishlist and ruin the store there too, got it.

UN Squadrons rules, almost as much as the revamped PSN online store sucks. It was not worth losing a wishlist feature. Not at all.

I finally got into the Control AWE DLC this week and I’m maybe halfway through, taking it slow and just beat all the Shum stuff last night for the cool new suit. For some reason the suit reminds me of Beyond The Black Rainbow, which I may have to watch over one of these spooky season weekends. So I’ll finish the DLC

Also, did you get to ask about Gerald Albright?!?

Oh my goodness. This is the best.

Yup. That's the one. I still love it.

Yeah, once you’re in rhythm, it’s not bad. It just always breaks up the rhythm for me and takes a while.

Ah, those lightning bolts... never again... well, okay, maybe once more...

Going to wrap up the gaps and get theres in THPS, since I only have skatestreet and Philly left. Fall Guys has a survival levels only mode for the next week, so that calls for a few rounds. Probably do a level or two in Nioh, and then aim for diving back into Control.

Came here to say the same thing! This had better be one super UX optimized store they’re rolling out.
