And here we begin at chapter one, book one, of the book of The Console Menu, and I say unto thee, I am the IDDQD and the IDKFA.

I can imagine so! I'm sorry you have to deal with that. You deserve better.
Super icky, then, since she either was totally not picking up the signals or was just willfully trampling over them. Totally bullshit, and I'm glad it stopped there and you got away.
Had a small cluster of tiny frustrations yesterday that got me off kilter for a bit, but I think I’ve recovered some today. I’m trying to figure out a good change in routine that would help prevent the feeling of the walls closing in too much. Then again, some days I’m not always up to the usual routine, and just kind…
Oof. That's just... Icky.
“Why is the water no longer boiling around me? I was finally getting used to it!”
Well done, Fahey!
I’m glad August is over, because August is the February of summertime. I usually love September, but I always forget that I really mean late September. Next week is supposed to be real hot outside all week. The flannel shirts and wool socks still pine away for cool, rainy days.
My wife and I hung out in a park on our first date, so I’m just saying...
I think I have “good” goals, but will experiment in games with the ends justifying the means. It doesn’t always work out and I’ll often knee jerk back to good.
Block party is a lie. It presents itself all nice and kind and easy... Until the mob squeezes in and you plunge to your doom. And the number of times I've gotten caught on a beam, seemingly recovered, but then am unable to jump or dive or do anything is a stupidly high number. They really need to fix that.
Some very good early saves in that slime climb run, just great. There’s something satisfying about huge perfect match eliminations like that, probably because they’re so rare. I also really enjoy when the harder ending sections of block party take down big crowds.
As a... Kid? Tween? Can’t remember, but I watched Bogus Journey. Never saw the original! I remember liking it even if I didn’t get all the Bergman references at the time. Perhaps we’ll just have to watch the full trilogy!
It was added in a bit ago, then taken out to patch an exploit, then put back in. Now that they’ve adjusted the game selections, it seems to come up far more often. I see it more than Fall Mountain now; usually it’s either Hex or this, both of which I like as final rounds.
It’s definitely moderate difficulty if everyone else plays well. Everyone here played very poorly. When there are other good players, it can last a long time and the lower bars speed up quite a lot, and one mistake can take you down. Plus, others will try to grab and try to mess up your timing, but I’ve rarely seen…
I have a morning mobile routine of the Hoplite daily challenge (which is a nice quick wake up), a Good Sudoku daily (sometimes all three depending on the difficulty), the daily Microsoft Solitaire challenges, the Really Bad Chess daily board, and since I needed more in the pandemic I do some Words With Friends 2 plays…
I tried out FFBE for a while and while fun at times, it was also... just too much. I couldn’t keep track of everything and had no idea what I was doing, even though I was doing pretty well.
So young, and just so sad.
And, damn, every time I watch that and see the MASSIVE purple layer I completely missed makes me cringe. I will never see a bigger Hex gift than that again.
