It’s super impressive and I can’t even imagine the work it took but I’m sad to say it was bumped at the last moment in Tip Toe and didn’t make the final round.

I’ve always wanted to be Martin Starr! He gets to hang out with Spider-Man and JB Smoove in Europe!

There’s two common things I’ve run into. The first is “but [delicious peanut treats] are SO GOOD, aren’t you tempted?” with the easy answer being “they taste like slow suffocation to me, so not that tasty!” The other thing is “can I feed you a peanut to see what happens?” and I’ve always responded “sure, if you pay my

Yeah, I would think most would pick either nioh or sekiro to go with that sort of soulsy experience. I haven’t played sekiro and hadn’t taken on any soulsy stuff in a while, and I do like how action oriented and fast it is. I’ve been very distracted by fall guys though so I’m going through it very slowly.

Im luckily not on any maintenance meds, but I’ve always had an epi pen around thanks to severe peanut allergies. If you’ve never had the mix of lots of benadryl as well as synthetic adrenaline coursing through your system, I really don’t recommend it. Can’t keep my eyes open from drowsiness but also can’t stop

I’m definitely grabbing ghost of tsushima someday from all these posts of how pretty it is. I’m playing nioh here and there, and I enjoy the samurai aesthetic, but it also has all the soulsy grime to it.

I had a high school friend who was a literal, actual poster child for child diabetes, and she had the routine down by high school, but actual kid ages have to be a real struggle at times.

Wow. That's terrifying. Fingers crossed for her recovery.

Backyard dinner also sounds great! I miss grilling out for more than just us here. Definitely feeling the enjoy the late summer push, especially since it’s looking pretty pleasant for the next couple of weeks. Thankfully we scheduled a beach house rental trip the weekend after labor day, so that should cap things off

Hey, you know, I do like fun! I had some fun this weekend having a Cuban sandwich picnic in a park with my wife. Weather was great and we’re starting to get that magical sunset light in the evenings. Looking forward to more of that.

I think first thing in the morning might be the best time for fall guys for me. I’m not as wound up, there aren’t as many players, and it’s a little more fun than later on when I’m stuck in chasing just one more win. I’m also in a hex a gone win drought that is itching at me like a splinter. I’m still close most of

I have a long standing love for the 60s batman show, and there’s no way a big production company would make something that far out and campy today. It’s spectacular. Every scenery-chewing villain performance, every labeled gadget, every community theater looking set piece, every shoe horned in PSA, all those bright

I would have actually watched that movie by now if that was the case.

I, too, have a drinking problem.

Got the grocery store run into b for the next few weeks early this morning and snagged a treat on the way home: donuts. I’m not a regular donut eater but this time it really hit the spot. If you’re ever in Portland, the buttermilk bar from Coco Donuts is a fantastic and not pretentious sweet treat.

Also Donnie Yen is a badass that looks like an accountant.

Sleeping Dogs is my favorite game to get the feel of a good Kung fu and/or John Woo flick. I just want more like it. So many more like it. True Crime Streets of LA needs a remake, too, as far as I'm concerned.

I just griefed a slime climb grabber by grabbing him during fall ball as he tired to bring our team back from the three goal hole we were in. I regret nothing.

Totally incognito.

I do love game experiences like that, truly role playing, though I don't do it nearly enough. I can sort of do it in Yakuza between story beats, and I really like doing it in horror games to break up the mood. The RE2 remake became a quest for a microwave burrito for me. Sadly, a lot of zombies got in the way...
