Disaster Risotto is my math-pop/darkwave concept album based on America’s Test Kitchen (guest starring Alton Brown)

HBO usually has a decent mix of movies, and Prime has a fantastic selection of B-movie horror oddities (though sometimes in meh versions). Criterion channel would be great for true classics from over the years.

Ys I & II is good, with amazing music. My older brother really loved those growing up, which is why I've been meaning to get him this for a while. Good to know it's out!

Every time I’m out, either in a store or doing a pick up delivery, I’m armed and ready to blurt out “WHY ARE YOU SO CLOSE TO ME?” but I haven’t said it aloud yet. I’ve been really close, though.

Good to hear. I can’t really conceive of not enjoying more Control, even if it’s a different flavor.

I’d give you my (digital) copy of Doom Eternal if I could, since I'm not playing it. Some classic Fallout-ish fun of Outer Worlds does sound good!

The brain blobs were more irritating for me than anything else, mostly because the terrain when I first ran into them was so crappy I either fell or hit a wall and one would blob me. Didn’t end up really doing much harm, though. I do like the design of them, even if I have absolutely no idea how they fit into the

Ooo, what game?

I always have time to watch the Space Ghost Fire Ant or Knifin’ Around episodes.

I’m way more prepared for cosmic horror than for a lot of what’s happening today.

I haven’t been able to find a suitable game for short term fun after finishing Death Stranding. Finished up the story missions in Lego Avengers, but there's really no point to doing all the collectibles aside from getting more characters, but... eh. Played some Agents of Mayhem, which has its GI Joe action figure

Radical! Definitely will keep my eye out for one at the local barcade. I’ve certainly missed my window for owning a good condition Addams Family table, so thank goodness for dedicated pinball enthusiasts working at retro arcades.

Some days I do miss the sense of discovery and possibility and randomness of my 20s. I don’t miss the uncertainty and periodic loneliness and can definitely, definitely look back and see how big of an idiot I was in so many ways. There are definitely certain social scenes I’d enjoy stepping back into with everyone

That’s fair. And it’s not always feasible to go out on a shopping hunt these days. Fingers crossed that you get lucky, though!

It definitely is great! It had a seemingly mysterious first trailer for it to be the most amazing traversal and delivery game of this time, and a very relatable sci fi dystopia tale. It’s so very, very Kojima. I spent 99 hours and 45 minutes on it, five starring all the locations but not doing every possible delivery

Iwas going to mow the lawn today, but just as it was drying out from last week’s rain, it rained again this morning. Only a little, so maybe by this afternoon it’ll be okay. I have burgers (and probably asparagus!) and tater tots for later, but dishes are done and the house is quiet and it’s quite nice at the moment.

I had a big ol’ late 80s skateboard as a kid, which had all these exaggerated curves and lipped sides and stuff. I never learned any tricks but I could scoot around on it just fine, for a Midwestern kid. Fast forward to moving to Portland after college and deciding it’s time to really try skateboarding. Got a basic

Oh wow, they put the names of other players you connected with during the game into the credits. So congratulations “blowinjob” for making my Death Stranding credits roll.

Portland is home to Smith Tea, which has a Portland Breakfast blend that I adore. Just a really solid black tea. I also mix it with a smoked tea they have to make a very peat-scotch morning tea that I am totally hooked on. They also have a good variety of lovely oolong teas.

I tend to buy yeast in the big vacuum packed bags (like red star) and then put it into the freezer once opened. So I still have yeast from maybe a year ago, and it’s still working well enough. I know a local bakery was selling flour and yeast while they were closed. Also, never hurts to find the stores that supply the
