Once I’m done with Desmonding The Numbers into my computer (aka office work from home), I’ll get back to the Death Stranding grind. I have maybe three road segments left to build, but that grind really wore me down last night so I think I’m going to switch it up and get some more peppers linked up and hopefully five

(To steal a bit from Fisftul of Yen from Kentucky Fried Movie)

How early in life did you take up woodworking? That seems so interesting and a really good mental exercise.

Exactly! It’s a tight length of a book, adds really good lore and world building—especially because it takes the antagonist focus away from Voldemort for the most part and puts it on the other dark wizards and equivocation from the ministry—and really tells a good story of friendship and family and giving Harry a much

The audiobook of WWZ is really good. I know I read a good translation of AYNIK a while back, so I know it’s out there. I remember it being a good read.

I’ve had the Hawaiian version, but I can’t remember if we got one in Portugal. I do get a craving for the Francesinha sandwich from Porto from time to time now. I may have to try to recreate that at home at some point.

Sorry your brain got swabbed, but hooray for (likely) being okay?

How did I miss out on Sumol while I was there?! I do miss stopping in for a coffee and a pastel de nata or a bacalau fritter somewhere during the day. USA cafe culture sucks. Nobody needs this may muffins.

I am currently not reading the two books on the history of Portugal I ordered right after the stay at home orders went into effect. I listened to all the Harry Potter audiobooks recently (book 3 is still the best [and the best movie]), and I already miss Jim Dale’s voice. I’m now listening to another Louise Penny

Same. So this is what it feels like... When doves cry.

And I relate to your username.

Question for Zack: the other four new members have a vowel to begin their name. Do they treat you well despite this difference, or are they consonant-ly teasing you about it?

Gotcha. Good tips!

At least with hard boiled, there’s less egg on your face?

I have a plan for my coming expansion into the mountains, involving a routine of deliveries to five star new places during resource collection runs for road expansion. Zip lines are becoming spokes in my design. I just hope the plot doesn't get in the way and stage gate me.

To be fair, boiled eggs hardly ever cooperate with anyone's best intentions. Want a dozen acceptable looking deviled eggs? Better boil at least eighteen.

Yeah. Keeping things stable in the short term is taking priority. I definitely get too stressed if I think too far ahead. Just do what I can, save as much as possible, and hope.

Fan. Tas. Tic.

Oh, yeah, I know, but I’m a bit overly excited and in need of some retail therapy and am all the way ready to pre-order the dang thing. I may not totally be in my right mind, but I really, really loved those games and don’t have much going on right now.

Focusing on work has been tough lately, even without pandemic stress, so every day I remind myself to try to find some momentum and do what I can. Mondays are not often successful. Days with too many meetings sprinkled in are usually a bust for doing anything else. I definitely worry I’m letting the rest of my team
