Ah, thank you. I needed that reminder. It’s one of those things that I intellectually know, but gets lost if I get stuck in my own head too long.

Well, I stayed up too late last night trying to get a jackpot I didn’t actually need in a pachinko mini game in Yakuza 5, so I’m hoping to be smarter and get more sleep tonight and not derail myself into any depression. I feel ridiculous focusing on such small matters like enough sleep in light of what so many others

Magnus Archives is excellent, one of my favorite things. Looking forward to the new season. Thanks for the recs!

Right now it’s Keep It! for some Hollywood pop culture fun, and on deck is Splitscreen (heyo!), Rusty Quill Gaming (I never knew just listening to tabletop RPGs could be so great) and Gaylords Of Darkness, my favorite horror movie focused podcast ever. I’m also listening to an Inspector Gamache series audiobook with

Awesome. Thanks for the rec.

Storage. Yes. We need so much more storage--so many books, all the kitchen things, clothes, board games, more books... Ugh. I keep trying to get rid of things but then all the other things invite their friends over and suddenly we have even more things.

I’m very lucky to have a wife who got a starter home in the in the mid 2000s, and who is willing to have me as a tenant. Nothing big, definitely has a few quirks, but right now it’s secure and cozy, which is really all we need. I’ve had a couple yard improvement projects in mind that have been procrastinated back a

My wife started her new job a little over a month before they all had to telework, and she has similar stress about learning the job remotely. It’s slowed down her ability to get answers and to have faster clarifying conversations.

We split the chore load fairly well between my wife and I, but I tend to be the default dog minder, fixit person, dinner cook, and vacuumer. We just had the bathroom sink stopper doohickey break (metal lever piece rusted away) which isn’t a difficult fix, except that I don’t feel like I can just hop out to the store

My first glance at the headline, I thought it said crotch, and I almost rushed off to download the game.

100% agree.

Those books are a fun read!

Oof. That really sucks.
