I’m very curious about that book as a long time fan of Al. Do report back on how it is!

My wife and I were pretty lukewarm on AC season one, but AC season 2 was much better and the lead actors really helped ground and elevate it (though the villains felt very one note)

I got a used copy of Heir to the Empire for super cheap a while ago at a library sale but haven't reread it yet. I'm very curious how it holds up vs my tweenage memories. 

I grabbed a few new books for the kindle the other day, feeling ambitious so I’m going to try to read up on the Thomas Piketty economic analysis books. Plus I still have bunch of comic collected editions to get through—Saga big book 3, Bitch Planet, House of X/Powers of X, Monstress.

This is exactly what worries me about this game since I can't port my p5 save over for ng+... I can't just dip a toe in. If I pick it up, there goes 150 ish hours.

I second the Yakuza 0 recommendation. Definitely one of the best entries in the series, and will introduce you to all the pieces that make it good. The fighting mechanics switch up a bit from game to game, but if you enjoy the vibe and the plethora of side content, it’s not hard to adjust. 

Absolutely! I’m waiting on Judgement until I’ve finished up all the Yakuza games, but it looks great. I played a bunch of FOTN and while I haven’t finished it yet, it’s great if you like the anime/Manga at all, and the bartender mini game cracked me up.

Wait until you get that first unlock once everything’s loaded. Very satisfying.

I can’t wait to play through DOOM again. The Games Done Quick run through this past year is so, so satisfying to watch.
