I am one of those that preferred ios9 at this point, but not part of the “all the angry people who bitch” crowd you lumped everyone with. There are quite a few changes I personally don’t feel are for the better for my use, but thank you for telling me what is best for me.

How is it moot? The value is the waterproofing. I understand Samsung has it with the jack, but what I have read is it not very reliable. Perhaps Apple has a different technology to build a better mousetrap. Just because Samsung, et al, has offered it, doesnt mean it is the best way.

I thought removing the jack allows the phone to br waterproof, which is in fact a value/benefit. I know Samsung has done waterproofing with the jack, but maybe Ap uses different tech or methods, or is more reliable than Samsung’s waterproof version.
The point is, removing it does add value.
