It’s really awesome that Bell is combatting the earned distrust that Black Americans have of the medical system, because while that distrust is certainly earned, you also have plenty of bad actors and well-meaning but misinformed folks reinforcing that distrust at a time when it’s going to get Black people killed.

Why in God’s name are you still reviewing this show weekly, now that your site is down to like three shows being reviewed at a time?

I can remember watching the pilot and enjoying the realism and the chemistry between her and Zach Morris, but the the dead dad twist at the end of it ensured I wasn’t going to watch another episode.

Denzel Washington sure does play the Denzel Washington type a lot.
