If you got rid of gender and 5 years (or whatever) in a row only men won eventually people would figure it out and throw a wrench into the whole system.

I’m glad you live in some magical place where sexism doesn’t exist and actors and actresses are held in equal esteem.

We’re talking about two separate issues. Yes, there’s the issue of female directors not winning because they’re less likely to be hired.

Race and gender are two different things, and you can very much be accepting of trans rights without pretending to not understand this.

A basic understanding of who gets awarded things when gender isn’t a factor.

I kinda liked this movie for the action scenes, and the CGI frankly holds up better than some movies that have come out much more recently.
