I had a Discovery Sport as a loaner for a few days. Lousy replacement for the Freelander (the interior was so bleak and depressing it was like a rolling ad for Prozac) but they are selling like crazy. I think it’s because it’s a relatively cheap “SUV” that says Land Rover and looks like the bigger, more expensive ones

It’s for old women.

Its interesting because the 2012 explorer looked like a cheaper copy of a range rover and now we have come full circle with a range rover looking like an expensive copy of 2015 explorer...

By unique, he meant that we don’t use the octagonal shape for any other sign. The fact that Europe also does it this way didn’t have anything to do with his point.

There is one more significance of the octagonal shape that I didn’t see being mentioned here.

As some have already said. The correct answer is Hawaii. Still in the United States and top down weather almost all year round. 70s to 80s temp wise. If it rains lots of places to easily pull over to put the top up. Have had Miata and E46 vert here and always loved the drives and beautiful scenery. Never too hot or

Why is this car in park ?

Topless definitely makes it better.

A classy correction compared to his kinda shitty comment. Well done and thanks for this article.

I totally want a blue refrigerator... and the Ford Flex too

You’re right. I’ll fix that. It’s not the motor’s inertia that slows the car down.

IMPACT BLUE FLEX!!!

We just picked up an ‘11 ecoboost flex and for its size along with the aerodynamics of a shoe box, the thing has definitely got some go to it.

I DD an EcoBoost Flex. Can confirm power, room, and flexible interior for hauling things. And mine is boring silver, so it doesn’t stand out at all.

+1 for blue fast fridge. I want a boostflex just like the one pictured.

Ford Flex Ecoboost. The anti-CUV. Designed with a ruler and not remotely lozenge shaped. 365hp stock. Three useful rows. I think they’re hilarious and have seriously considered one just for the “Did that blue refrigerator just smoke me off the light?” reaction.

“Can we just park right in the ocean?”

Welp, there goes my ability to ever trust a car that’s had serious body work done to it.

It’s a gateway drug. Land Rover wants to see if people will by a Range Rover car, which is probably in the pipeline if people are into this.
